This is for all of you manga artists out there! With this PSD you can create a graphic novel cover in the style of Viz Media's Shonen Jump graphic novel line. This was created in Photoshop CS3 with the base being created from various Jump covers and the text being created by myself using the font Impact. Please feel free to use it to create alternative/parody or original covers for comics! I would be very happy if you found this useful, and if it is useful to people, I might make PSD for covers from other companies as well (such as Tokyopop).

If you do use the template please be sure to credit me. Also, please send me a note or a comment with a link to the finished product! I would love to see it and possibly learn more about your comic project if there is one :D

You are also not limited to the text colors that I chose. The "volume #" text color varies with each Jump cover in the American releases so feel free to change it to whatever color you want - that's why it was left as an editable text layer!

Thank you so much! I'm glad this inspired you to start a new project. Hehe, yes, it's easy to have an idea but choosing which ones to develop is the hardest part about creating a comic!
